Due to the very high number of COVID-19 infections, police officers are also closely checking whether people travelling, for example, by public transport wear protective masks covering their mouth and nose while travelling.
In view of the restrictions introduced to combat the coronavirus, police officers have been conducting extensive operations for many months, also in cooperation with Sanitary Inspectorate employees. Throughout the province, officers are supervising whether shop employees and customers comply with the provisions of the regulation while staying, among other places, in commercial establishments; whether people travelling, for example, by public transport cover their mouth and nose with a mask; and they are also checking those who should remain at their places of residence if they are subject to quarantine or home isolation. All this is for our common good and to protect our health.
The aim is to limit as much as possible the risk of infection and the spread of the coronavirus. Everything is part of serving society. Once again, we appeal for responsible and sensible behaviour, including compliance with the restrictions introduced, cooperation and following the instructions of the services.
People in isolation are also encouraged to install the application on their mobile phone Home Quarantine, which will significantly facilitate the work of all services. The application is available, free of charge, secure and easy to use. More information about the regulations currently in force can be found on the website of the Republic of Poland Service.
