The incident took place on Saturday, December 18, before 11:00 p.m. The driver of a Seat, a 66-year-old resident of Nowogrodziec municipality, lost control of the vehicle in Parzyce, ran off the road, and hit a barrier and road signs.
As it turned out, the man was completely drunk; he had 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. The 66-year-old was detained by traffic police. He now faces up to two years in prison.
