The incident took place on Wednesday evening, December 15. A 48-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County arrived by car at one of the fuel stations in Bolesławiec. While pulling up to the pump, he hit the fueling station.
What is more, when he went to pay for the fuel, staff detected the smell of alcohol on him. The police were called to the scene.
Indeed, the 48-year-old was drunk; he had more than 1.7 parts per thousand of alcohol in his exhaled air.
The irresponsible driver was arrested. He now faces up to two years in prison.
