Once again, Bolesławiec is drowning in traffic jams. Traffic jams are forming on Kościuszki Street (the access road to the A4), on Wróblewskiego and Cieszkowskiego streets (the city bypass), and on Chrobrego Street (the city’s main east-west route).
Why is through traffic passing through Bolesławiec?
The reason is two road accidents involving trucks that occurred on the A4. The A4 motorway from the exit near Godzieszów toward the border with Germany is closed to traffic. Traffic jams are also forming on national road no. 94, from Wykroty toward the border.
Traffic disruptions may continue for several more hours.
