Police officers from the Zgorzelec “NYSA” group received information about where a marijuana grow operation might be located. “As a result of the actions taken, police officers, together with detectives from the Criminal Department, discovered a homemade grow box with electrical equipment in one of the garages in Zawidów, containing 31 cannabis plants,” reports Insp. Agnieszka Goguł, press officer for the District Police Headquarters in Zgorzelec.
And she adds:
Additionally, during the search, the officers seized more than 1 kg of marijuana, as well as blank ammunition and gas cartridges.
The 38-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County has already been charged, and the prosecutor placed him under police supervision and imposed a ban on leaving the country. The 38-year-old now faces up to eight years in prison.
