As reported by the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:
In the Podlaskie and Lubelskie voivodeships, Wałbrzych traffic police officers are present on a rotating basis, along with police officers who are currently attending training at the riot police units in Wrocław and Warsaw.
(As we have established, four officers from the Bolesławiec KPP are also there).
Security at the Polish-Belarusian border, which is also the EU’s external border, is maintained by officers from many uniformed services. “At present, the situation in the Polish-Belarusian border area, due to the introduction of the state of emergency, requires support for the Border Guard and local police forces. That is why, for several weeks now, officers from the Wałbrzych command have also been serving in this area and protecting border security,” explains Sub-Inspector Wojciech Jabłoński from the Wrocław Provincial Police Headquarters.
He adds:
Traffic police officers from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Wałbrzych were sent to the eastern part of our country, where they check every vehicle travelling on roads leading to the border. Meanwhile, officers currently attending training at the Police Riot Units in Wrocław and Warsaw—in the latter case, specifically in Piaseczno—serve directly at the border, ensuring that illegal migrants do not enter Poland.
Police officers: “Service aimed at securing the country’s borders is met with enormous public gratitude and goodwill. Many people appreciate the service of uniformed officers, knowing what negative phenomena it prevents.
