Legnica traffic police noticed a taxi on one of the city’s streets in which neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a mask. – When the officers began the inspection, they did not know that the reason for the passenger’s nervous behaviour was that he was in possession of a prohibited substance – reports podkom. He adds:
During a thorough search of the Legnica resident, the officers found a bag containing dried plant material. A preliminary test showed that the seized substance consisted of more than 230 retail portions of marijuana.
The 62-year-old now faces up to three years in prison. The spokesperson adds: – In addition, both men, who failed to comply with the sanitary restrictions related to the pandemic, were given an official warning and a fine.
