The incident occurred during the night of November 19–20. Volunteer firefighters from Warta Bolesławiecka:
Today, at approximately 4:49 a.m., we were dispatched to a road accident in Żeliszów. Upon arriving at the scene, it turned out that a passenger car had hit a roadside tree.
They added:
Unfortunately, the young driver died at the scene as a result of the incident.
The driver was a 19-year-old resident of Lwówek County. He was driving a Chevrolet.
Firefighters from Stare Jaroszowice, Bolesławiec and Warta Bolesławiecka, as well as an emergency medical team and police officers, took part in the operation. The police, together with the prosecutor’s office, are determining the causes of the tragedy.
