Police officers from Nowogrodziec identified a suspect in the theft of catalytic converters in Świętoszów. What is more, officers from Bolesławiec suspected the same man of attempting to break into and steal a car.
Staff Sergeant Aspirant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec:
Cooperation with officers from Lubusz Voivodeship resulted in the arrest of the 25-year-old. It turned out that the suspect is known to police in the neighboring voivodeship in connection with property thefts attributed to him.
She added:
Officers from Nowogrodziec and Bolesławiec proved that the perpetrator had committed four offenses in our county.
The 25-year-old faces between one and as many as ten years in prison.
