Officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters are inspecting the roads. “The autumn road inspection is a permanent element of caring for the safety of road users,” reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters.
The following are inspected, among other things:
- vertical and horizontal road markings,
- road surface condition,
- inconsistencies in road markings,
- the correctness and legibility of railway crossing signs,
- raised and unmown road verges,
- lack of sidewalks,
- the danger posed by trees growing along the verges.
The spokesperson appeals:
If residents and road users in the county have noticed places where, in their opinion, road markings should be improved, a speed limit introduced, or the road surface repaired, please send the information to the Bolesławiec police unit:
