– Officers from the Economic Crime Unit of the Bolesławiec police regularly cooperate with officers from the Customs and Tax Control Department in Zgorzelec to shut down illegal gaming parlors, reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the local District Police Headquarters. – Recent operations in Bolesławiec resulted in the seizure of three machines worth over 30,000 zlotys.
The machines had games of chance installed, operated for commercial purposes. Organizing such games requires a concession necessary for running a casino.
We remind you that, under the Fiscal Penal Code, organizing gambling games in violation of regulations is punishable by up to three years in prison.
