Officers from the Criminal Investigation Department of the Bolesławiec police arrested a suspect after publishing the image of a person suspected of stealing a bicycle.
Police:
In August, the 55-year-old man entered the stairwell of one of the apartment blocks in Bolesławiec and stole a bicycle used by a child. According to the officers’ findings, the perpetrator sold the stolen bicycle.
The resident of Bolesławiec municipality admitted his guilt and gave an explanation. He faces between three months and as many as five years in prison. Efforts to recover the bicycle are currently under way.

On September 9, we reported that the Criminal Investigation Department of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec was conducting proceedings concerning the theft of a black-and-green STORM RACER 26” bicycle. The theft took place between August 15 and 17. The bicycle, worth PLN 1,250, disappeared from one of the stairwells in Bolesławiec.

The police officers handling the case obtained an image of the perpetrator, who was probably an older man of average build. At the time of the theft, he was wearing a short-sleeved shirt, long trousers and sports shoes. The man was wearing a baseball cap.
