– Patrol officers from the Lubań police station detained a 31-year-old city resident suspected of stabbing a 30-year-old man immediately after receiving the report, reports Asp. Staff Monika Kaleta of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław.

The injured man reprimanded the aggressor for his negative behavior and disturbing the public order. In response, the aggressor threatened to kill him and caused bodily injuries. In addition, after the incident, the perpetrator left and moved through the city streets, where, holding a dangerous object, he posed a threat to other people and also disturbed the public order.
The Lubań resident was detained; he was intoxicated.
Investigators questioned witnesses and secured evidence, as well as the knife with which the injured man was stabbed. What is more, it came to light that the detainee had also committed other offenses against family and guardianship and had made criminal threats against the residents of the building where he lived.
Asp. Staff Monika Kaleta: “The 31-year-old was charged at the prosecutor’s office with causing bodily harm, making threats to kill, as well as psychologically and physically abusing his mother.”
The court remanded the attacker in custody for three months.
