Can anyone explain why trees have been felled in Bonina Park for several days?
As we have managed to establish, these are planned activities. MZGM is felling and pruning trees that are rotten and hollow inside and, consequently, pose a threat to the health and lives of people spending time in the park. (Moreover, the trees in question were selected for felling by an arborist.)
However, that is not the end of the matter. As Kazimierz Łomotowski, head of the Municipal Housing Management Authority, announced in an interview with the istotne.pl portal, there will, of course, be compensatory plantings (though not necessarily in the same place).
