According to the city authorities’ plans, a year-round sledding hill would be built in the Park named after Scoutmaster Hubert Bonin (formerly Waryński Park).
Due to its terrain, this area was considered suitable for the project. The concept was presented to councillors during the May session of the City Council. PLN 40,000 has been allocated for preparing the design and documentation.
The project assumes the use of modern technical solutions that will enable the facility to be used safely throughout the year. The documentation is to specify the project’s detailed parameters, functional solutions and additional equipment increasing the facility’s attractiveness and allowing it to be used in a versatile manner.
Preparing the functional and utility programme will be the first stage of carrying out the project. If the investment goes ahead, Bolesławiec will gain a new recreational attraction that will expand the range of active leisure options for both residents and tourists visiting the city.
What do you think of this idea? Does Bolesławiec need a year-round sledding hill?
