We have unfortunately been reporting regularly lately that the weather has gone haywire. We experienced another weather armageddon on Wednesday, July 14. It began at around 11 p.m.
The result? Fallen trees, damaged roofs and power lines, flooded basements and buildings. The first reports began reaching firefighters before 11 p.m. After midnight—in a short time—the uniformed responders had carried out more than 100 interventions. Firefighters were brought in to help from neighboring counties: Złotoryja, Zgorzelec and Legnica.
So far, there is no information that anyone was injured. The removal of the storm's effects is ongoing.
