Bolesławiec traffic police, together with the Jelenia Góra Road Transport Inspection, conducted an operation involving inspections of trucks. Police officers: “During the operation, the services used a mobile diagnostic station to check the vehicles’ technical condition.”
For six hours, officers inspected vehicles travelling on the roads of Bolesławiec municipality. The result? Officers:
A total of 14 registration certificates were confiscated due to poor technical condition. The services checked the weight of the load, how it was secured, the tachograph, drivers’ qualifications and compliance with road regulations.
The detected deficiencies included:
- malfunctioning lights,
- sharp edges on the vehicle,
- damaged suspension,
- improperly secured bodywork.

Joint operations by Bolesławiec traffic police and ITD officers will be repeated periodically.
