District police officers from the County Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec stopped a passenger car for inspection on one of the city’s streets. The vehicle was driven by a 43-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County, who is subject to a court driving ban until 2024.
After checking the 37-year-old passenger, it additionally turned out that he also had something on his conscience. Contrary to the law, the man possessed narcotic substances in the form of methamphetamine.
The driver faces up to 5 years’ imprisonment for violating the court driving ban, while the passenger faces up to 3 years’ imprisonment for possessing drugs.
