The incident occurred during the night of 5–6 March. KPP Bolesławiec:
The suspect intentionally damaged a surveillance camera installed by the housing association in the stairwell of one of the blocks in Szczytnica. The man smashed the cover and cut the wires, damaging the property.

The losses were estimated at PLN 1,000.
The perpetrator is a 27-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality. The man is a repeat offender, which means he may face a sentence ranging from three months to as much as 7.5 years in prison.
