Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec established, based on the evidence collected, that two residents of Bolesławiec County wanted to fraudulently obtain compensation. KPP Bolesławiec:
The suspects, who are related, acted together and reported a claim, providing false information about how the damage to the vehicle occurred. The men, aged 30 and 31, wanted to defraud the insurance company of more than PLN 2,000.
An expert’s report and the investigators’ findings led to charges being brought against the suspects. Both suspects could now face between six months and as much as eight years in prison.
