The incident occurred on Thursday, 4 March, on the road between Warta Bolesławiecka and Iwiny. After 1 p.m., three vehicles collided: two Opels (one with Bolesławiec registration plates and the other with Lwówek plates) and a Jeep (with Złotoryja plates).
Update
The driver of an Opel Astra, a 50-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, was overtaking across double solid lines and caused a collision with a Jeep driven by a 35-year-old resident of Złotoryja County. Moreover, the Astra belonging to the 50-year-old at-fault driver struck another Astra from the side; it was driven by a 26-year-old man.
Both drivers were injured and taken to hospital. The at-fault driver's licence was confiscated.
