Bolesławiec police detained a 43-year-old man. KPP:
A resident of Bolesławiec County physically and psychologically abused his cohabiting partner. The perpetrator started arguments during which he insulted and threatened the woman, as well as kicking, grabbing and hitting her, causing bodily injuries.
Neither the intervening police officers nor the prosecutor had any doubts that the 43-year-old man had to be isolated from the victim. The court agreed with them and remanded the aggressor in custody for two months.
Since the detained 43-year-old is a repeat offender, he may face a sentence ranging from three months to as much as seven and a half years in prison.
