On Friday, December 4, Bolesławiec police officers detained three residents of Zgorzelec, aged 21, 24 and 25, who were selling cosmetics bearing counterfeit trademarks.
The suspects told buyers that the perfumes were branded. They sold the bottles for about PLN 50 each. They explained that the price was so low because the products were not packaged.
The officers found a bag containing 11 bottles of counterfeit perfume on the men from Zgorzelec. The detainees told the officers that they wanted to earn some extra money this way.
All three now face up to 8 years in prison.
