At the request of the Jelenia Góra District Prosecutor’s Office, the court remanded Paweł R., a former police officer, in temporary custody for two months. According to investigators, between 2015 and 2017, R. sold nearly 1.7 kg of methamphetamine worth approximately PLN 135,000 to various people.

In turn, in 2019, the 35-year-old purchased 1 kilogram of the drug, worth approximately PLN 70,000, for resale.

The arrest and the filing of charges followed information obtained by the Prosecutor’s Office as part of another investigation into the activities of an organized criminal group involved in methamphetamine trafficking.
Paweł R. faces a sentence of between two and twelve years in prison.
