Jelenia Góra criminal investigators, together with officers from the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski, identified and then arrested a 38-year-old resident of Lwówek County suspected of burglary and supplying drugs.
– Police determined that the Land Rover Range Sport was stolen on the night of January 23–24, 2021, in Szklarska Poręba. The owner estimated the losses at PLN 650,000, reports Sub-Inspector Edyta Bagrowska, press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Jelenia Góra.
She adds:
It turned out that the stolen car was hidden on a property in Lwówek County. Police also determined that, in exchange for the use of a barn where he stored the stolen vehicle, the 38-year-old supplied the property’s owners with narcotic substances several times.
Police are currently clarifying all the circumstances of the case in detail. At the prosecutor’s request, the court placed the 38-year-old in temporary custody for three months. The man could face a sentence of one to as many as ten years in prison.
