– The situation has looked somewhat better over the past week – said Adam Niedzielski, head of the Ministry of Health, during a press conference. He added that the situation appeared to have stabilized, but the government had to take two risks into account: international conditions and new virus mutations. (The minister mentioned the difficult situation in Europe. He noted that it was hard to expect Poland to be a green island on the Old Continent when it came to the pandemic. He also recalled that the British variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus had reached our country.)

Restrictions remain unchanged until February 14, with minor exceptions. From February 1, shops in shopping malls and art galleries and museums will reopen.
