On 27 January 2021, the Bolesławiec City Council adopted a resolution on awarding grants from the city budget in the total amount of PLN 500,000. Five applications meeting the formal and substantive requirements were selected to receive funding. The applications were submitted by housing communities.
The planned grants concern renovations of the façades of tenement houses at the following streets:
- 10 Kutuzowa Street
- 12 Kubika Street
- 13 Kubika Street
- 13 Willowa Street
- 24 Karola Miarki Street.
The renovation work will be carried out under the supervision of the Voivodeship Conservator of Historic Monuments. Grants supporting renovation work on buildings entered in the register of historic monuments have been awarded since 2005. To date, 79 grants have been awarded for conservation, restoration or construction work on a historic monument entered in the register of historic monuments or included in the municipal register of historic monuments.
