The incident occurred on January 20 in the evening on Kopernika Street in Bolesławiec. A woman who was out walking with her dog was attacked by a German Shepherd. The dog bit her hand. (The injured woman received stitches at the hospital.) Unfortunately, the woman’s pet was less fortunate: it was mauled to death by the attacker.
Bolesławiec police were at the scene. The officers established the identity of the dog’s owner. Investigative proceedings are ongoing.
