On Monday, January 11, officers from the Traffic Division of the Bolesławiec police unit checked the sobriety of nearly 250 drivers. Two of them were drunk.
KPP Bolesławiec:
After 7:00 a.m., a patrol stopped a 56-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County for a check. The man had got behind the wheel with 0.8 per mille of alcohol in his system.
A few minutes later, a 52-year-old man from Lwówek County was stopped. He had also been driving while intoxicated. The test showed 0.7 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled air.
Both men lost their driving licences. They could now face up to two years in prison and financial penalties.
