The government assures:

The procedure will be simple and safe. In subsequent stages, the following people will be vaccinated:

  • stage 1: residents of social welfare homes, care and treatment facilities, nursing and care facilities and other residential institutions; people over 60, starting with the oldest; uniformed services, including the Polish Armed Forces; teachers;
  • stage 2: people under 60 with chronic diseases increasing the risk of severe COVID-19, or undergoing diagnosis and treatment requiring repeated or continuous contact with healthcare facilities; people directly ensuring the functioning of the state’s basic activities and exposed to infection because of frequent social contacts;
  • stage 3: entrepreneurs and employees of sectors closed under regulations establishing specific restrictions, orders and prohibitions in connection with the occurrence of an epidemic. General vaccination of the remaining adult population will also be carried out.
