Bolesławiec, known primarily for the ceramics that decorated the walls of Polish homes for many years, can also boast Europe's longest stone railway bridge. The railway viaduct, 490 metres long and 26 metres high, runs over the Bóbr River, providing the city with a connection to Wrocław and Dresden.
