On Wednesday, 18 November, Bolesławiec police organized the “Speed” operation. The activities were carried out on Kosiby Street. Drivers who were speeding were stopped near the city stadium.
Using a speed camera, officers recorded 88 cases of exceeding the speed limit, for which they issued 76 fines.
During the afternoon activities, police officers recorded further offences. That day, officers detected a total of 160 cases of exceeding the speed limit.
Police remind drivers that a 40 km/h speed-limit sign is posted on Kosiby Street. What is more, excessive speed and reckless driving are among the most common causes of accidents and road incidents.
