The incident occurred on Sunday evening, December 13, in Świętoszów. The driver, a 38-year-old Ukrainian citizen, failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions. The car left the roadway, hit a tree and rolled over.
Fortunately, the driver was not injured. However, it turned out that the foreign national was drunk; he had more than one per mille of alcohol in his system.
The 38-year-old was arrested. He could now face up to two years in prison.
