The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon (December 5). The driver of a passenger car, traveling to Bolesławiec from the direction of Brzeźnik, probably failed to stop for a police check.
The driver fled through the streets of Bolesławiec and posed a danger to other road users. Several police cars pursued him. During the escape, the driver allegedly caused a collision with another vehicle. He was eventually arrested near Krępnica.
