Bolesławiec police officers, as a result of operational activities, identified and arrested a man suspected of burglary at a single-family home. KPP:
The crime took place in Bolesławiec commune. The perpetrator broke into the building and stole a small stove, a gas cylinder, antlers, a fishing rod and tools.
After analyzing the perpetrator’s method of operation and gathering important information in the case, officers identified a suspect. The 31-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County was arrested at his place of residence. There, officers also found property originating from the crime, worth more than PLN 2,000.
That was not the end of it. Police also recovered a bicycle worth PLN 2,500, which had been stolen in Bolesławiec the previous day. The arrested 31-year-old claimed that he had bought the bicycle at a bargain price.
The young man will now face charges of burglary and handling stolen goods. He could face between one and as many as ten years in prison.
