– Last weekend, in the area of Chojnowska Street, Legnica traffic police officers stopped a BMW for a roadside check, reports asp. Anna Grześków of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica. – The officers’ attention was drawn to the fact that, upon seeing the police car, the man turned into the preceding side street.
It turned out that the 30-year-old should not have been behind the wheel at all, as the District Court in Legnica had issued him a ban on driving all motor vehicles. (The fact that the driver was sober is irrelevant in this situation).
Spokeswoman: – The resident of Legnica was exceptionally unlucky that day, as it also turned out that he was wanted in order to serve an eight-month prison sentence.
The man was arrested. He could now additionally face between three months and as much as five years behind bars.
