The incident occurred on Saturday, October 24, after 7:00 p.m., near Parowa. The car driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road and hit a tree.
The driver was injured. He was attended to by a medical rescue team.
KPP Bolesławiec:
A 27-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County with a court-imposed lifetime driving ban left the road and hit a tree; the man was probably under the influence of alcohol. Blood test results will confirm or rule out the suspicions.
Volunteer firefighters from Parowa on the incident:
[...] at 7:24 p.m., we received an alarm about a road accident on the county road toward Poświętne. A passenger car crashed roof-first into a tree. One person, the vehicle’s driver, was injured.Rescuers freed the injured driver using hydraulic tools, provided him with first aid and handed him over to the medical rescue team.
Firefighters from Parowa, Osiecznica and Bolesławiec, as well as a medical rescue team and the police, took part in the operation. The police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.
