As we read on the gazetawroclawska.pl website, the number of Lower Silesian counties meeting the criteria of the so-called red zone rose to as many as 18 at the beginning of this week.
Unfortunately, Bolesławiec County is among them. The Wrocław-based outlet:
In Bolesławiec County, the rate [zakażeń na 10 tysięcy mieszkańców – przyp. istotne.pl] rose from 12.8 to 14.3.
If the number of infections continues to rise so sharply, it is possible—reports Gazeta Wrocławska—that the entire country will become a red zone as early as Thursday.
What restrictions apply in the red zone?
Education
Universities and post-primary schools must provide remote education, excluding practical classes.
Sports events
Sports competitions, sports activities and sporting events are organized without spectators.
Cultural events
They may take place:
- Indoors, provided that:
a) every other seat is made available to spectators or listeners, with no more than 25% of the total number of seats; where no seats have been designated, a distance of 1.5 m is maintained between spectators or listeners,
b) spectators, listeners, visitors or participants are required to cover their mouths and noses. - At outdoor sports facilities, provided that:
a) every other seat is made available in alternating rows; where no seats have been designated, a distance of 1.5 m is maintained, with no more than 50% of the seats intended for the public,
b) spectators, listeners, visitors or participants are required to cover their mouths and noses.
Food services
Operations are permitted during specified hours: from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The time restrictions do not apply to services involving the preparation and serving of takeaway food.
Inside the premises, customers must cover their mouths and noses until they take their seats for eating or drinking. Staff must cover their mouths and noses.
Limits apply: every other table may be occupied, unless tables are separated by a partition (at least 1 m high from the tabletop surface). One person per 4 sq m.
Hotel services
They are currently permitted, excluding the operation of clubs and discos and areas made available for dancing.
Regulations concerning congresses, food services, and cultural or sports activities apply if such services are provided at the hotel. Swimming pools, fitness centers and gyms are available only to hotel guests staying at least one hotel night.
Water parks and swimming pools
Operations suspended.
Amusement parks, theme parks or recreational parks
Operations suspended.
Gyms, fitness centers and fitness clubs
Operations prohibited.
Cinemas
Every other seat may be made available to spectators, with no more than 25% of the total number of seats; spectators must cover their mouths and noses.
Sanatoriums, rehabilitation and health resorts
A negative SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic test result, based on material collected no earlier than 6 days before the start of the rehabilitation stay, is required to begin therapeutic rehabilitation. The same applies to health-resort treatment and children’s sanatorium treatment.
Assemblies
Assemblies of up to 10 people may be organized. In addition, the distance between assemblies may not be less than 100 m. Participants should maintain a distance of 1.5 m from one another and cover their mouths and noses.
Churches
If a religious event takes place in a church, mouths and noses must be covered, except by persons conducting worship. Religious ceremonies are subject to a limit of one person per 7 sq m.
Weddings, first communions, wakes and other family celebrations and special events
Organization of the above-mentioned special events is prohibited.
Public transport
A vehicle may carry as many people as:
a) 50% of the number of seats, or
b) 30% of the total number of seated and standing places specified in the technical or technical-operational documentation for the given type of transport or vehicle, while leaving at least 50% of the seats unoccupied in the means of transport or vehicle.
Mouths and noses must be covered.
Masks
Mouths and noses must be covered in public spaces.
Retail
Limits apply to the number of people in stores: for stores with an area of up to 100 sq m, 5 people per checkout; for stores larger than 100 sq m, 1 person per 15 sq m. Customers must wear disposable gloves or use hand disinfectant when purchasing goods or services.
Nightclubs and discos, excluding sports dance clubs and dance schools
Operations suspended.
Beauty, hairdressing and tattoo salons
Only staff and customers being served may be present at the premises; if a customer requires care, their caregiver may also be present.
Air transport
Requirements:
- providing hand-disinfection fluids on board the aircraft;
- disinfecting the aircraft:
a) once a day when conducting passenger flights,
b) after each flight involving a sick person or a person suspected of having an infectious disease,
c) before and after each passenger flight lasting at least 6 hours; - providing passengers, through the cabin crew, with passenger locator card forms to complete for health purposes and collecting the completed cards when a passenger crosses the state border to travel to their place of residence or stay in the territory of the Republic of Poland.
