The main aim of the “Truck & Bus” campaign is to improve road safety and remove from traffic drivers whose conduct poses a threat to the life and health of other road users.
The spokesperson adds:
During the operation, police officers pay attention, among other things, to compliance with regulations concerning the transport of passengers, particularly transport by vans. Officers check whether the number of passengers exceeds the number indicated in the registration certificate, as well as the vehicle’s technical condition and equipment, the required documents, drivers’ working hours and sobriety.
