The incident occurred on Thursday, October 8. Volunteer firefighters from Trzebień (Bolesławiec commune):
[...] at 8:39 p.m., we were dispatched to a road collision involving a truck and a passenger car at kilometer 65 of national road No. 18, heading toward Olszyna.
The firefighters added:
Due to vehicle damage and operating fluids spilled onto the road, the road was blocked until the hazard was removed.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
Firefighters from Trzebień and Bolesławiec, a police patrol, two emergency medical teams and the road administrator took part in the operation.
