The incident occurred on Sunday, September 13. Volunteer firefighters from Ocice:
At 4:35 p.m., we were dispatched to a collision between a motorcycle and a passenger car in Ocice.
According to the officers' findings, the driver of the Mercedes, a 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, failed to yield the right of way to a 22-year-old motorcyclist from Strzelce County (Opole Region). The latter was injured and taken to hospital. Fortunately, however, it turned out that he had not suffered any more serious injuries.
In addition to the firefighters from Ocice, the operation involved firefighters from the Rescue and Firefighting Unit in Bolesławiec, an emergency medical team, the police, and a representative of the road administrator.
