Officers from the Police Station in Kruszyn, based on the information they had gathered, identified and arrested the perpetrator of two acts of property damage. The suspect is a 23-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality.
The first incident occurred on August 29 at a petrol station. The agitated man, in order to vent his anger, damaged parts of a playground, an advertising banner, and 21 containers of automotive fluid.
The same 23-year-old caused the second instance of property damage during the night of September 4–5. Using his hand and a stone, he damaged two windows in a vehicle, as well as its mirror and antenna.
The arrested man admitted his guilt and gave an explanation. He could now face a sentence of between three months and as much as five years in prison.
