The summer and holiday season is unfortunately already behind us. This year’s holiday period was unusual due to sanitary restrictions requiring, among other things, social distancing. Taking advantage of the sunny weather, many people relaxed by various bodies of water. During the 2020 holiday season, 210 people drowned across the country; fortunately, there were no such cases in Bolesławiec County.
Bolesławiec police officers, concerned for the safety of children and young people traveling for summer recreation, inspected buses; in total, they checked 48 buses, and in 2 cases officers questioned their technical condition.
During the holiday period, 281 road incidents occurred on the roads of Bolesławiec County, including 15 accidents in which 3 people died and 17 were injured, as well as 266 collisions.
