The incident occurred on Thursday, 27 August, after 11:00 a.m., in Tomaszów Bolesławiecki (Warta Bolesławiecka commune). A 39-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County who was driving a van failed to adjust his speed to the road conditions. He lost control of the vehicle and first hit a truck, then a Volkswagen passenger car parked on the roadside.
The driver of the latter vehicle, who was sitting inside, was injured. He was taken to hospital.
The case will probably end up in court.
