Ministry of Health:

We have 825 new and confirmed cases of coronavirus infection from the following voivodeships: Małopolskie (184), Silesian (160), Masovian (143), Łódź (54), Pomeranian (46), Greater Poland (43), Subcarpathian (39), Podlaskie (31), Opole (31), Lublin (23), Kuyavian-Pomeranian (22), Lower Silesian (21), Warmian-Masurian (16), West Pomeranian (8), Lubusz (8), Świętokrzyskie (3).

We regret to inform you of the deaths of 15 people infected with coronavirus (age-sex, place of death): 74-M, 80-F Poznań, 76-M Poznań (resident of Lower Silesian Voivodeship), 78-M Łańcut, 90-F Szczuczyn, 67-F, 74-F Kraków, 69-F, 84-F Łódź, 82-M, 77-M, 81-F Zgierz, 69-F Racibórz, 85-F Tychy, 73-F Starachowice. Most of the people had comorbidities.

Due to the duplication of the death of a person from Pomeranian Voivodeship dated 13 August 2020, we are removing it from the list.

Number of people infected with coronavirus: 55,312/1,858 (all positive cases/including deceased persons).

Lower Silesian Voivode:

We have 21 new cases of coronavirus infection in Lower Silesia.

The newly diagnosed people are from Wrocław, Jelenia Góra and Wałbrzych, as well as the following counties: Bolesławiec County, Kłodzko County, Oleśnica County, Środa County, Ząbkowice County and Zgorzelec County.

In total, the number of people infected with coronavirus in Lower Silesian Voivodeship is: 3603.
