The incident occurred overnight from Monday to Tuesday in Lwówek Śląski. At around 1:00 a.m., police officers wanted to stop the vehicle for a check. The driver failed to stop, so the officers began a pursuit. The driver’s escape ended on Jaśkiewicza Street. There, he crashed into a streetlight.
It turned out that the car was being driven by a 32-year-old resident of Bolesławiec County. The man did not have a driving licence, and the car was not authorised for road use. As the lwowecki.info website reports, the driver admitted that he had recently taken intoxicating substances.
