During an intervention, officers from the Prevention Department checked a person from whom they detected a strong smell of marijuana. – The officers’ suspicions were quickly confirmed; the man had hidden a plastic bag containing marijuana in his underwear, from which 150 retail doses could have been obtained – reports asp. szt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters. – A test conducted by a forensic technician confirmed that the secured substance was a narcotic.
The spokesperson adds:
Additionally, during a search of the 27-year-old’s residence, police officers found a bicycle stolen from one of the cellars in Bolesławiec. Power tools were also secured; their origin is being investigated by the officers.
The Bolesławiec resident was charged with two offenses: possession of narcotics and handling stolen goods. He now faces a sentence of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
