On July 10, during earthworks in the Zabobrze housing estate in Jelenia Góra, an anti-tank mine dating from World War II was unearthed. The Bolesławiec Bomb Disposal Patrol was notified and dealt with the unexploded ordnance.
The bomb disposal specialists appeal:
Any explosive or dangerous object must be reported to the appropriate services immediately. “Reporting it costs nothing and may save a human life,” says st. staff warrant officer Radosław Mazur, commander of the Bolesławiec Bomb Disposal Patrol.
