Officers from the Bolesławiec traffic police, operating as part of the SPEED group, stopped 3 drivers for inspection after they significantly exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area.
The record-breaker was a 20-year-old resident of Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, who sped through a built-up area at 118 km/h.
The traffic officers also caught a 57-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, who was driving at 105 km/h in a place where the limit is 50 km/h, and a 29-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, who exceeded the speed limit in a built-up area by 60 km/h.

All the drivers had their driving licences revoked for 3 months and were fined and given penalty points.
