Bolesławiec traffic officers stopped a Volkswagen Lupo for inspection while patrolling the city. “During the inspection, it turned out that the car was not fit to continue driving because its windscreen was shattered and it had no rear window. The tyres were excessively worn and the exhaust system was faulty,” explains staff sergeant Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer for the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.

She adds:

The car did not have a valid roadworthiness test, and the 20-year-old driver from Złotoryja County did not have a driving licence.

Let us recall that days earlier, the same vehicle, but with a different driver, was stopped by traffic officers from Lwówek Śląski.

Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:

The woman will face the consequences of the offences she committed and will have to pay the costs associated with removing the vehicle by roadside assistance.
